Margibi Co.: Pastor Morris Fahn has made a commitment to educate the citizens of Liberia about the procedure of impeachment set forth in the Liberian Constitution and other bodies of law.
The Pastor says, his aim is to establish a system to engender the impeachment process and make it possible how elected officials can be impeached, if they fail to prioritize the interests of the people who voted for them.
The clergyman emphasized that many public officials are more focused on personal wealth accumulation than on implementing projects and policies that would benefit the broader population.
Pastor Fahn further stressed that he and his group will undertake the initiative to educate most Liberian citizens to impeach their lawmakers who are underperforming in an effort to minimize corruption in the Country.
At the same time, the Church Must Rein Global Ministry Pastor cautioned the newly elected government officials, headed by President Joseph Boakai not to compromise the interest of the Liberian people.
He noted that the Boakai-Koung government should work in the interest of the ordinary people instead of their own.
The Pastor wants the government to impact the lives of all Liberians, irrespective of political affiliations, and should not copy the ideology of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) government.
