Bomi Co. The Ministry of Agriculture has announced a robust recruitment of potential smallholder farmers for direct benefit during the 2024 farming season in Bomi County.

According to the Regional Coordinator of the Ministry of Agriculture, Edmond Greeves, the initiative is under the Rural Economic Transformation Project and the Smallholders agriculture Transformation and Agribusiness Revitalization project.

He named 50 farmers in the Rubber sector, 350 vegetable farmers, 180 rice farmers and 120 farmers in the oil sector that will be direct beneficiaries under the World Bank support projects.
