Grand Gedeh Co. A group, the Global Challenge Out-Reach, through its Executive Director, Mr. Garrison Gwion has donated a cartoon of typing papers/sheets and a pack of pen at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh. The donation was made on Wednesday, January 31, 2023.
According to Mr. Gwion, the motive of donating those items is to enhance and buttress the work of the police and strengthen their function in the County.
He extolls the Liberia National Police in Grand Gedeh for implementing her vital and prestigious oversight Responsibility in Protecting lives and properties of citizens in the area.
He added that the Police have been effective and efficient in providing protection and services to citizens in the County.
He thanked the head of police for always keeping the peace of the Country stabilized, especially during the elections processes.
He revealed that the Global Challenge Ou-Rach is a Humanitarian organization established on December 25, 2023. Its aims to reach out to the needed and vulnerable individuals, while providing safe environments for all, including people with physical, mental and cognitive disabilities, school going kids without supports, and people in the most remote areas of the Country.
He stated that the Out-Reach shall remain firm in extending her humanitarian hands to the Liberia National Police, as well as other ministries and agencies as part of her humanitarian goals in the County.
For his part, Commander of Police in Grand Gedeh, Co. Mosses Gbayar expressed deepest gratitude to the executives of the organization for such unique decision in recognizing the Liberia National Police in her Humanitarian plans.
He utilized the medium to entreat prominent sons and daughters of the County to follow the precedent set by the foundation.
“Our heartfelt gratitude for your humanity and kind gesture,” he said, adding that therefore, it’s our commitment that these donated items will be used for their said purpose.
