By Mensouhn Mendin September 17, 2026 The Liberia Pharmacy Board is warning pharmacy owners across the country to employ only certified pharmacists and dispensers, threatening immediate closure of facilities found operating with unlicensed personnel.The Board says the move is part of efforts to strengthen regulation of the pharmaceutical sector and protect the public from potentially dangerous medical practices.According to the Board, its database currently contains more than 307 registered pharmacists practicing in Liberia, including four foreign nationals.
