Businessman-turned-politician contesting on the ticket of the All Liberian Party in the October 10, 2017 does not only have real properties in Liberia, he also has a couple that have been discovered in the United States. His houses are in the State of Maryland.
Our Correspondent in Monrovia says Urey’s real estate properties were found located at Gaithersburg Estate at 8500 Goshen View Drive. He bought the house, a regular standard house, for $385,000 from the David A & J L Mckneely, but house is currently valued at $562,400.00.
He also bought another home in Silver Spring, Maryland, located at 3000 Parker Avenue valued at $268,300. Both homes were purchased between 1999 and 2000, when he sat on top of Liberia’s Maritime program, as commissioner of the Liberia Bureau of Maritime now Liberia Maritime Authority.
