A prominent citizen of Gbarzon District, former GDAA Secretary-General during the Ehrich/Zinnah administration and media tech guru, Isaac Nyenaweh aka Julu Garley, has thrown his weight behind presidential candidate Browne Jayee in the impending Gbarzon District Association general and presidential elections.
Mr. Nyenaweh issued a statement today. Read verbatim the statement by Mr. Nyenaweh:
“I support Browne Jayee and the AJEH-A-DEH TEAM to lead Gbarzon District Association in the Americas, Inc, for the next two years. I will do everything within my reach to make sure Browne wins. My primary reason for supporting Mr. Jayee and not the candidacy of Jerome “JJ Dennis” Pour is that Mr. Jayee is the right person for our Association at this crucial time. I do not believe that Mr. Pour is fit to lead this noble organization.
“Earlier yesterday afternoon, I was on the phone with JJ Dennis, who has sought my support from the onset of announcing his candidacy. I thank him for all he has done for GDAA in the past. I also told him that I would not be supporting him because of his position on the GDAA in 2011 that did not show a good side of him.
“I cannot support someone who does not believe in the core principles of democracy; someone who does not believe in the constitution; someone who challenged the Board of Directors and promised to destroy GDAA (the same organization he is now seeking to become the president) if his choice of candidate did not win. I cannot support a candidate who does not believe in the will of the very same people he wants to lead and one who is temperamental.
“I support Browne Jayee because he is the right person at the right time to lead this noble organization. He is a family man, a community organizer, an educator, innovative, collaborator, influential, people’s person, he has patience (not temperamental), skilled professional and a good listener.
Please join me to elect Browne Jayee as the next president of GDAA. Say no to JJ Dennis.”
