A Guinean national identified as Abass Sannoh has been arrested with 31 Kilograms of the deadly substance “KUSH”. Abass was driving a mini-bus in which he was transporting the illegal substance.
He was arrested at the Bo Waterside at the Liberian and Sierra Leonean board entry by officers of the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency Grand Cape Mount County detachment.
The LDEA Grand Cape Mount County detachment Commander, Agent Sandouno Fayah, said, the monetary value of the confiscated substance is put at US$620,000 (a LD$117, 800,000).
Agent Fayah said, suspect Sannoh was apprehended based on intelligence from one of the informants of LDEA.
Suspect Sannoh told our reporter that he has any connection with the Kush, saying, “I don’t know anything about this thing.” He said the owner of the drugs was not in his vehicle.
According to him, there three passengers in his vehicle but none of them had loads. The three passengers left while he was undergoing investigation.
Suspect Sannoh is currently in the custody of the LDEA Investigation section awaiting to be forwarded to court.
