In line with the established protocols for government officials, City Mayor Emmanuel M. Goll has decided to relinquish his position to the Kakata City Council until the official appointment of a new Mayor by the National government.
During this period, Chairman Emmett K Richardson will oversee the city’s operations as acting Mayor, in collaboration with other senior staffers, until the appointment of the new Mayor.
According to Mayor Goll, he has been in charge of the city for over six years, during which he has dedicated his services to its development.
He emphasized that his appointment by the George Weah government as City Mayor was a testament to the government’s excellent judgment.
Furthermore, he expressed satisfaction of his working relationship with others, which he noted has impressed him over the years.
Mayor Goll reiterated his commitment to continue working with the city whenever the need arises.
Mayor Goll also took the opportunity to urge all citizens of Kakata City to cooperate and collaborate with Emmett Richardson, who is currently leading the city.
