Alex Mulbah, a resident of Baptist Clinic Community in Gbarnga is appealing for assistance to seek advanced medical treatment abroad.
Mulbah, who walks with crutches, has been grappling with his mobility which makes him experience walking difficulty for about 14 years now.
Mulbah said he became physically challenged in 2010 after he fell from a palm tree in his hometown.
He was thrown out of school because he was unable to pay his school fees, a situation that forced him to go home to harvest palm nuts. He was hopeful that the palm nuts would have given him some money to continue his school, but his world collapsed before him when he fell from the palm tree.
He told Our Correspondent on that he sustained severe fractures in his two legs from the accident and has since not been able to walk without clutches.
Mulbah said his parents cannot afford to send him abroad for treatment, and that the production of palm oil which was his only source of income is no longer possible, something he relied on then to pay his school fees.
He has expressed pity over his condition and has been making attempts to commit suicide.
In the meantime, he is also soliciting support to initiate a mini business that would help him survive.
