It appears President Joseph Boakai and Rep. Anthony Williams are not the only persons happy to see former President George Weah and former Speaker Bhofal Chambers kicked out of office. Mr. Rolnado Taylor is also happy. For Taylor, former President Weah needed to go, and former Speaker Chambers deserved to be kicked out after representing District #2 (Pleebo District), Maryland County since 2005.
Anthony Williams won Bhofal Chambers in a re-run recently to clinch District #2, Maryland County seat. And Mr. Taylor said he came from the United States of America just to campaign strongly against Dr. Chambers and former President Wea. Taylor indicated he did not “the way in which things were going on in Liberia and Pleebo District.”
But he is not just happy to see Weah and Chambers exit the scene, Mr. Taylor said he will rally Marylanders in the US to support and help the people of Pleebo District.
According to Taylor the former speaker who represented the district has nothing to show for the years he represented the district in the Legislature for 18 years. “The former Speaker can only show lots of unfinished projects in the district,” Mr. Taylor noted.
One of the issues he has identified is with the education sector. He noted he frustrated to notice that students graduating from high school in the County, and ‘even Universities in Liberia’ without computer knowledge.
Speaking to Blaze Daily News Correspondent via telephone, he said Marylanders and the people of Pleebo should try to manage their expectations on the leadership of Rep. Anthony F. Williams. He believes that many people are expecting change very soon and hoping to work in his leadership, which may not come by early.
Mr. Taylor reminded the citizens of Pleebo that a law maker may be able to employ directly in his office or recommend qualified citizens of Pleebo to various departments of government.
