Former senatorial candidate, Rev. Alexander Collins, has brought into the country two of American fire chiefs to buttress the Boakai government’s effort reduce fire disaster in the county. This initiative is intended to buttress the government’s effort to reduce fire disasters.
Our correspondent says Rev. Collins made the disclosure when he appeared on one of the community radio stations. Rev. Collins noted that during President Boakai’s trip to the United States before his inauguration ceremony, the President pleaded with him to join efforts in reducing the numerous fire disasters across the country which usually led to many citizens homeless.
Based on loved for country, the former Margibi senatorial candidate has brought to Liberia two American fire chiefs with fire equipment to be donated to the government and people of Liberia for quick response to fire disasters across the country.
The clergyman also indicated that continued fire disasters scare international investors from coming to the country something he stressed they will not have hope of property safety.
The delegation of Rev. Collins includes nine pastors from America including the two fire chiefs who met President Joseph Boakai Tuesday in Monrovia to have a lengthy conversation surrounding their contributions to the Boakai’s administration.
