It is often said that one can run as long but often gets caught up with their past. This is true about a deadly ULIMO-K fighter, Abraham Fofana, who participated in the massacre of tens of civilians in Belle Fassama (then Lofa County), and now part of Gbarpolu County. Abraham Fofana, notoriously known for his savagery as “Knife Will Talk”, has surfaced in The Netherlands.
According to his kinsmen, who identified him as a brutal killer who is now bent on destroying other Mandingos to prove himself a clean man, led many deadly missions with ULIMO-K general Jungle Jabbah, who was himself sentenced to 30 years in prison in the United States for lying on his immigration paperwork that he was never associated with any rebel or armed militia group.
Liberians in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, have disclosed that Abraham Fofana presents himself as an advocate so as to deceive the Netherlands government to forestall any investigation into his brutal activities in Liberia.
Kosia M, a fellow Mandingo, alleged, “Ab was one of those fighters who destroyed the Mandingo people’s name. He and others were on a killing spree, despite orders from the ULIMO command for soldiers to stop kill civilians.”
He claimed that Abraham Fofana, Jungle Jabbah, and others were eating human hearts. Abraham admitted living in Lofa County before the war. And when the war started, he was one of those fighters who took his colleagues to people’s homes and extracted money and other personal effects from them, and if they refused, Ab and others would kill them.
One Liberian in The Netherlands said Ab once told him, “Right now nobody knows me to be a fighter that is why I will continue to advocate.”
Investigation continues.
