House Speaker J. Fonati Koffa, says the House of Representatives would continue to improve the welfare of its employees. Speaker Koffa during a staff meeting on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, frowned on absenteeism.

The Speaker commended the current leadership of the House on staff welfare, pointing out that they will make provision for vehicles to commute workers to their various locations.

Speaker J. Fonati Koffa reemphasized the importance attached to an ongoing employees’ payroll and personnel audit of the House of Representatives. APEX, an independent firm, is conducting such an audit as highlighted by the HOR Speaker.

He revealed that upon completion of the audit, staffers would receive their wages in accordance with an acceptable standard set.

For his part, Deputy House Speaker, Thomas P. Fallah, added that the gathering sought to get first-hand information to plan adequately for productivity.

Meanwhile, Representatives Josiah Marvin Cole, Abu Bana Kamara, Chair and Co-Chair of the committee attended the staffer meeting, under the auspices of the House’s committee on Rules, Orders and Administration respectfully.
