President Joseph Boakai has made the first five nominations in his government. The nominations come after an elaborate inaugural ceremony, during which Pres. Boakai was unable to finish his speech due to repeated hiccups. Sources closed to the President say he experienced heat exhaustion.
Pres. Boakai did not atten the official luncheon in honor local and foreign guests held at the Executive Mansion. Sources say the Liberian President is now home.
