A 36-member Mauritanian football delegation has arrived in Monrovia ahead of the CHAN WEST Zone A qualifier against Liberia this Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS).
The team, which is made up of local players, also includes officials and technical staff members. The Mauritanians will battle the Lone Star this Sunday at 4:00pm local time (that is 11:00am Central/12:00pm Eastern Time in the U.S.) at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
Meanwhile, match officials for the game have also arrived in the country. The match officials touched down Friday morning at the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County.
The Center Referee is Baba Leno of Guinea, while the Assistants are Moustapha Toure and Issa Soumah also from Guinea.
The reserve referee is also a Guinean and he is Aboubacar Mario Bangoura. Sanusi Mohammed of Nigeria will serve as the Match Commissioner for the crucial encounter at the ATS.
Meanwhile, the match will be broadcast live on Groove 106FM, with our Correspondent Roland Mulbah and Benjamin Gbarkpah providing live commentaries. Commentary starts at 10:45am Central Time/11:45am Eastern Time in the U.S., which will be 3:45pm Liberian time.
