—Kakata Residents Raise Concerns

An unidentified man has been found dead in the New Kakata Community, near SIB Bank and the Kakata Administrative Building in Margibi County.

The discovery has drawn the attention of community residents, who say an identification card was reportedly found on the deceased.

Preliminary information from residents indicates that the man may have been a resident of Number Seven Community, located along the Monrovia–Kakata Highway. However, authorities have not officially confirmed his identity.

Community elders reportedly alerted the Liberia National Police following the discovery and are calling for a full investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

Residents are also urging the police and other relevant authorities to establish the deceased’s identity and assist in locating his relatives.
