Liberians are reeling from the scorching rebuke of the so-called “majority bloc” of the House of Representatives by the Supreme Court, describing the lawmakers’ actions and acitivities as “ultra vires”. The ruling sparked divergence of interpretations, but Cllr. Tiawan Saye Gongloe agrees with the Court and asserts that the majority bloc’s actions are invalid. Ultra vires is when somone or entity acts outside the pills of its authority. Cllr. A mother of a triplets in Sinje, Grand Cape Mount County, Weyah Fahnbulleh, is seeking support from the national government, philantrophists, and child welfare organizations to come to the aid of she and her children. Weyah gave birth to the children on Wednesday, April 23, 2024. SHe gave birth three boys at the Sinje Comprehensive Health Center in Grand Cape Mount County. The father of the triplets, Romeo Perry, according to Weyah, is not working to cater to the adequate needs of the children.
